This is a hugely exciting step for the Wales, and indeed for Wavehub. it's easy to perhaps to evaluate the Falmouth centre's track record with the benefit of hindsight, but it is clear that there's a momentum and excitement building in Wales from the Tidal Lagoon project, with strong endorsement from the Welsh Assembly.  This can certainly drive the development of the Pembrokeshire Wavehub project, and hopefully there will be a reasonable number of developers looking to connect in to it.

As a North Wales boy, it's personally very exciting to see the potential for marine energy generation around Anglesey as well, particularly around the fast-flowing Menai Straits. More generally, it would be exciting at a national level for Wales to break free of historic associations with coal and spearhead the development of marine energy assets. We look forward to getting involved in this.
