Great to see topics such as decentralisation, energy storage and demand response in the mainstream press (I heard it on the radio this morning on the way to the office). It is good to see the head of National Grid saying there is a reduced requirement for building conventional power stations in the UK, I wonder if this will affect the Hinkley debate? The technological advances in the last five years have been completely game changing and with support from the National Infrastructure Commission for this new flexible approach I hope to see real tangible changes very soon. The article also give some great examples of live projects.
