This is not surprising considering the scale of the cuts in support for solar in the UK. Many companies have not made it through the lean times, others have been busy diversifying their offerings into energy storage and other technologies. The majority of companies have had to downsize and keep only their most essential staff members.
During hard times like these, it is essential that companies have only the best members in their team. It is easy to sell products etc when the times are good but when things are tight you need to have "A players" in your team. At Hyperion this is what we do on a daily basis. We find the best people, for the best companies, achieving the best results, for the best possible future of energy generation and efficiency. Let us know if you need help in bringing the "A players" into your team.
Following recent changes to the UK government’s energy policies, the local solar energy industry has been forced to slash more than half of its workforce — a loss of over half of the total workforce of 35,000 — according to recent reports. While some cuts were likely on the cards no matter what, some analysts have come out in recent days to note that the ones that were implemented were likely excessive, and also put into action too rapidly.
